Role Overview :

As a Software Engineer you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable, and secure applications that power our immigration services. You will collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and other engineering teams to translate intricate business requirements into elegant technical solutions. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and user experience for thousands of immigration applicants and professionals, contributing significantly to our mission of simplifying global movement.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions across our platform, ensuring reliability, performance, and security for critical immigration data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and operations, to define technical specifications and deliver features that meet user needs and business objectives.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence and enhance system stability.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in software development, including testing, documentation, and deployment strategies,



to ensure maintainable and scalable codebases.
- Research and evaluate new technologies and tools to continuously improve our development processes and product offerings.

Required Skillset :

- Proven expertise in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade software applications, demonstrating a strong command of modern programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of software architecture principles, including microservices, API design, and cloud-native development on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a distributed team workplace, collaborating seamlessly across different time zones and cultures.
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities, with a track record of tackling complex technical challenges and delivering innovative solutions.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for articulating technical concepts to diverse audiences and contributing effectively to team discussions.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field from a reputable institution.
- A minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 12 years of progressive experience in software development roles.
