Role Summary

As our Software Architect, you will be responsible for defining the architectural blueprint, ensuring platform scalability, and guiding engineering teams toward strong technical execution. You will collaborate extensively with the CTO, Product Management, Program Management and Engineering leadership to translate business and product strategy into robust technical designs that meet performance, security and reliability expectations for the SPARKai platform by SPARK Radiology, an InnovXcare brand. This role requires a balance of hands on technical capability, strategic thinking, mentorship and a strong say do ratio in driving outcomes.

You will lead by example, ensuring development standards are upheld, architecture decisions are well documented and future proof, and teams are aligned on implementation direction.

Roles and Responsibilities

Architecture Ownership • Partner with the CTO to define, refine and execute the long term technology roadmap.

- Architect highly scalable, modular and secure solutions using modern frameworks and cloud native patterns.
- Lead architectural design sessions, including system modelling, service decomposition, API strategy and data flow design.
- Establish architectural guardrails, coding standards, design patterns and best practices across the engineering org.

Technical

Leadership and Mentorship • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers, helping them make solid design and implementation decisions.

- Conduct design reviews, code reviews and architecture audits to ensure quality and consistency.
- Foster a culture of engineering excellence, continuous learning and accountability.




- Coach teams on performance optimization, observability, scalability and secure development practices.

What We Are Looking For : Frontend and Mobile Experience

- Strong experience with modern JavaScript and TypeScript frameworks including React and Redux RTK.
- Experience with React Native, Firebase and Google Analytics for mobile development.
- Deep expertise in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, TailwindCSS, PostCSS, shadcn, MaterialUI and FluentUI.
- Experience architecting micro frontend approaches is highly desirable. Backend and Services Architecture
- Strong proficiency in NodeJS, ExpressJS, HapiJS and microservices design.
- Experience designing large scale RESTful services and data orchestration workflows.
- Experience with relational and nonrelational datastores including MySQL, PostgreSQL and Redis.
- Strong grounding in object oriented design, UML, system modelling and structured architectural documentation.

Engineering

Practices

- Deep experience with TDD, BDD, Jest, Mocha, Jasmine, Karma, Playwright and end to end testing frameworks.
- Strong familiarity with CI CD principles and tooling such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins or equivalent.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, container orchestration and cloud architectures (AWS or Azure).
- Experience with Kafka, Serverless architectures, GraphQL or data streaming systems is a significant advantage.
