About Shownex

Shownex (shownex.tv) is a movie discovery and OTT aggregation app that brings 200+ streaming platforms into one personalised feed with AI-powered match scores, natural language search, and cross-country availability. We're building the one app people open before they open Netflix, Prime, or anything else.

The Role

We're looking for someone who genuinely lives in pop culture — watches everything, clocks OTT drops before the algorithm does, and can turn that instinct into content that actually grows an audience.

You'll own Shownex's social media presence end-to-end across Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube, with TikTok coming next. This is real creative ownership — not a content queue to fill.

What You'll Do

- Own content strategy and organic growth across Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube
- Spot trending movies and OTT moments and turn them into posts within hours, not days
- Write sharp, scroll-stopping captions, tweets, and video scripts for a global audience
- Design static posts, carousels, and short-form video using Canva and AI tools
- Own the numbers — follower growth, engagement, reach — and course-correct fast




- Bring your own formats, series ideas, and creative instincts to the table

What We're Looking For

- You genuinely watch movies and follow pop culture — and it shows in how you talk about content
- 1+ year of copywriting or content creation experience (agency, brand, or personal counts)
- Hands-on with Canva and AI content/image generation tools
- Track record of growing a social account with real numbers behind it
- Self-starter who moves rapid on trends without waiting for a brief

Nice to Have

- Video editing (CapCut, Canva video, Filmora, Premiere Pro)
- Experience with OTT, entertainment, or media brands
- An active personal presence in the movie or pop culture space
