About the Role

We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Content creation and video editing intern to join our social media marketing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating engaging content, staying on top of social media trends, and helping build an online community. As a Social Media Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in content creation, campaign execution, and social media analytics.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling content across social media platforms such as Instagram, Youtube, Facebook and LinkedIn.
- Knowledge of camera handling, lighting, and video editing software (Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
- Create engaging captions, graphics, reels, and short-form videos aligned with the brand's voice.
- Monitor social media channels and respond to comments and messages when appropriate.
- Research industry trends, competitors, and emerging social media features.
- Support the execution of social media campaigns and promotional activities.
- Track and report on key performance metrics, including engagement, reach, and follower growth.
- Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to develop creative content.




- Help maintain the content calendar and ensure timely posting.

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms and current digital trends.
- Knowledge of graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Express is a plus.
- Video editing skills using tools like Adobe Premiere, CapCut, VN, AI base sites, or other helpful Rush are preferred.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills
- Experience creating content for personal, academic, or business social media accounts.
- Understanding of social media analytics and performance metrics.
- Photography and videography skills are an advantage.
- Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing fundamentals is a plus.
