Project Overview

We are hiring experienced SME Reviewers and Subject Heads for a UK / International Curriculum question-bank project covering ICT, Social Studies and Integrated Science across KS3, KS4/IGCSE and KS5/A-Level

.

The project uses an AI-assisted content generation workflow

. However, every question must be academically reviewed, corrected, improved and approved before final submission.

The work includes reviewing and validating:

- Questions
- Answers and solutions
- Mark schemes
- Knowledge-point mapping
- Difficulty level
- Question type
- Diagrams, visuals, graphs, maps and tables
- Metadata and formatting

Content must be accurate, curriculum-aligned, age-appropriate, culturally neutral, written in British English, and ready for client submission.

Review Workflow

AI-Assisted Question Creation → SME Reviewer → Subject Head → Final Internal Delivery Check → Client Submission

Subjects Covered 1. ICT / Information Technology

Includes ICT, Computer Science fundamentals, digital literacy, hardware/software, data handling, spreadsheets, databases, algorithms, programming logic, flowcharts, networks, cybersecurity, AI basics, emerging technology and real-life ICT applications.

2. Social Studies

Includes Geography, History, Moral & Civic Education, Citizenship/Civics, environmental and global issues, source-based questions, maps, graphs, timelines, case studies and data interpretation.

Content must be neutral, internationally suitable and carefully reviewed for cultural, political or regional sensitivity.

3. Integrated Science / Natural Sciences

Includes Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Earth & Space Science, scientific inquiry, practical/laboratory science, STEM, project-based learning, data analysis, experiments, graphs, visuals, sustainability and real-world science applications.

For KS5 Integrated Science

, candidates must have strong multidisciplinary understanding. This is not only separate Physics, Chemistry and Biology review. It requires the ability to connect science concepts across disciplines, validate experiments, interpret data, check diagrams and review real-world application-based questions.

Role 1:



SME Reviewer****Role Overview The SME Reviewer will conduct detailed academic review and correction of assigned content. The SME must check every question, answer, solution, tag, difficulty level, visual and metadata field before it moves to the Subject Head.

Key Responsibilities

- Review AI-generated questions, answers, solutions and mark schemes.
- Check academic accuracy, curriculum alignment and level suitability.
- Review knowledge-point mapping, topic tagging, difficulty level, marks and question type.
- Correct/rework content directly wherever required.
- Improve wording, clarity, British English and assessment quality.
- Identify incorrect answers, weak solutions, vague wording and curriculum mismatches.
- Review visuals, diagrams, graphs, maps, tables, labels, units and captions.
- Ensure the question, answer, solution and visual are fully aligned.
- Flag copied, repetitive, biased, unclear or unsuitable content.
- Submit corrected files within the assigned timeline.

Subject-Specific Expectations

ICT SME:

Must check programming logic, flowcharts, algorithms, databases, spreadsheets, networks, cybersecurity, digital literacy, AI/data concepts and scenario-based ICT questions and rework to fix the errors.

Social Studies SME:

Must check historical accuracy, chronology, source references, geography concepts, maps, data, case studies, neutrality and culturally sensitive content and rework to fix the errors.

Integrated Science SME:

Must check scientific accuracy, experiments, apparatus, method, variables, observations, safety, units, calculations, diagrams, graphs, STEM applications and interdisciplinary science connections and rework to fix the errors.

Role 2: Subject Head****Role Overview The Subject Head will perform the second-level academic review after SME correction. The Subject Head is responsible for checking the final subject-level accuracy, consistency and readiness of the content before internal delivery submission.





Key Responsibilities

- Review SME-corrected files and verify all corrections.
- Ensure questions, answers, solutions and mark schemes are accurate.
- Check curriculum alignment across KS3, KS4/IGCSE and KS5/A-Level.
- Validate knowledge-point mapping, difficulty level, marks and question type.
- Review diagrams, graphs, maps, flowcharts, data tables and visual accuracy.
- Ensure content is clear, original, non-repetitive and age-appropriate.
- Maintain consistency in British English, terminology, formatting and assessment style.
- Return weak or incomplete files to SMEs with clear correction comments.
- Ensure final files are accurate, complete and ready for client submission.

Additional Subject Head Expectations For Integrated Science: The Subject Head must have strong multidisciplinary science understanding or experience coordinating Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Earth & Space Science and STEM content. KS5 Integrated Science requires advanced interdisciplinary judgement.

For Social Studies:

The Subject Head must ensure neutrality, sensitivity, factual accuracy and consistency across Geography, History and Moral/Civic Education.

For ICT:

The Subject Head must ensure technical accuracy, updated terminology and practical scenario-based assessment quality.

Required Profile

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the relevant subject.
- Solid subject knowledge and academic review experience.
- Experience in teaching, curriculum, assessment, question-bank review or educational publishing.
- UK Curriculum / Cambridge / Pearson Edexcel / OxfordAQA / IGCSE / A-Level experience preferred.
- Strong written English and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with AI-assisted academic content.
- Ability to work with Excel / Google Sheets trackers.
- Ability to meet daily targets and correction timelines.

Mandatory Availability

- Minimum 4–5 hours per day
- Freelance / project-based engagement
- Long-term project availability preferred
- Willingness to complete a screening task
- NDA compliance required
- Must be responsive and available for correction cycles
