We are looking for a skilled and experienced Smartsheet Developer/Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will design, build, and manage Smartsheet solutions that help us analyse project and operational data. Your work will turn raw data into clear, actionable insights that support better business decisions.

Role & responsibilities

- Build and maintain reports and dashboards that track key performance indicators (KPIs) and overall performance, using Smartsheet widgets, charts, metrics, and row reports.
- Clean, organise, and manage data within Smartsheet sheets using cross-sheet references, cell linking, formulas and conditional formatting to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Create data flows that bring together inputs from multiple stakeholders into a single, consolidated view using sheet summaries, roll-up reports, and DataMesh.
- Design and deploy automated workflows, including approval requests, update requests, alerts, reminders, and conditional automation rules that reduce manual follow-ups.
- Build intake forms to standardize how requests and data enter the system.
- Set up and manage Control Center blueprints to provision projects at scale with consistent structure, naming, and reporting.
- Use Data Shuttle to schedule automated data uploads and offloads between Smartsheet and external sources such as Excel, CSV files, and databases.
- Build Bridge workflows to automate multi-step processes and connect Smartsheet with third-party applications.
- Develop integrations using the Smartsheet API and webhooks,



and build Power Automate flows linking Smartsheet with Microsoft 365 tools such as Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Configure Dynamic View and WorkApps to give different stakeholders secure, role-based access to the same underlying data.
- Manage workspace structure, sharing permissions, and access governance to keep data secure and well organised.
- Review existing processes and recommend practical improvements to increase efficiency and improve project outcomes.
- Support audit and compliance reporting by maintaining activity logs, version history, and accurate Smartsheet documentation.
- Meet with business teams to gather requirements, then design Smartsheet solutions that can scale as the business grows.
- Train users, prepare clear documentation, and provide ongoing support after solutions go live.
- Work closely with IT, operations, and business units to support the company's digital transformation goals

Preferred candidate profile

- Practical experience with Smartsheet premium applications: Control Center (blueprint design and project provisioning), Bridge (workflow automation), and Data Shuttle (scheduled data transfers).
- Working knowledge of Energetic View, WorkApps,



and DataMesh for managing stakeholder access and keeping data synchronized across sheets.
- Strong command of Smartsheet formulas, cross-sheet references, cell linking, and conditional formatting.
- Experience building dashboards with charts, metric widgets, and report widgets to visualize project and operational data.
- Hands-on experience with the Smartsheet API, webhooks, or scripting to build custom integrations.
- Proven ability to build Power Automate flows that connect Smartsheet with Microsoft 365 applications.
- Strong reporting skills in both Excel and Smartsheet, including pivot-style analysis and data reconciliation between the two.
- Understanding of Smartsheet permissions, sharing models, and workspace governance.
- Familiarity with project management concepts such as Gantt charts, dependencies, baselines, critical path, and resource tracking within Smartsheet.
- Smartsheet certification (e.g. Smartsheet Core Product Certification) is an advantage.
- A detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
