Role Description: The Site and Planning Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards. The role involves preparing project schedules, monitoring progress, coordinating with project stakeholders, and resolving site-related issues.

Job Title: Site/ Planning Engineer

Experience: 6-8 years

Vacancy No.: 2 Nos Job Location; Tura, Meghalaya Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain project schedules using planning software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.

Develop detailed work plans, resource plans, and construction sequences.

Monitor project progress and compare actual performance against planned schedules.

Coordinate daily site activities with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.

Ensure construction work complies with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

Identify project delays and recommend corrective actions to minimize schedule impacts.

Review and verify quantities, work progress, and material requirements.

Coordinate procurement activities to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment.





Attend project meetings and provide planning and progress updates.

Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and compliance with project requirements.

Assist in project cost control, forecasting, and budget monitoring.

Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

2–8 years of experience in construction planning and site execution (experience requirements may vary by organization).

Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Excel.

Knowledge of construction methodologies, project scheduling, and resource planning.

Understanding of contract documents, BOQs, and project specifications.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and team coordination abilities.

Preferred

Skills

Experience in residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.

Familiarity with project management principles and earned value analysis.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.

Knowledge of quality management systems and HSE practices.

Strong time management and multitasking abilities.

On-time completion of project milestones.

Schedule adherence and variance control.

Quality compliance and reduction of rework.

Effective utilization of labor, materials, and equipment.

Timely submission of progress reports.

Compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Conditions

Combination of site-based and office-based work.

Frequent coordination with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams.
