? Short-Form Podcast Clip Editor

? Role TL;DR

We’re looking for a high-speed, high-instinct editor who can turn long-form podcast recordings into engaging short-form videos built for Reels and Shorts. This is an execution-heavy role for someone who understands retention, hooks, and rhythm.

? Who This Role Is For A Do-er with Editorial Instincts. You recognise the most important moments. You understand pacing. You think in hooks and retention curves.

? What You’ll Do

- Your day-to-day revolves around receiving raw podcast recordings and identifying the moments worth clipping: the punchy takes, the quotable insights, the high-retention hooks.
- You'll cut these into 30–90 second vertical videos, add captions (styled and on-brand), layer in motion graphics or subtle visual elements where needed, and export them ready for upload.
- You'll be handling multiple clips per session, so speed and a repeatable workflow are critical.




- You'll work closely with the content or social team to align on priorities, feedback, and turnaround timelines.
- Over time, you're expected to develop an instinct for what performs and proactively flag moments worth clipping even before you're told

? You’ll Succeed in this Role if you are/have:
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects
- Comfortable working with templates and fast-turnaround workflows
- Strong caption styling and motion fundamentals
- Clear understanding of vertical format editing and platform optimization
- Ability to handle multiple clips simultaneously without compromising quality
- Solid editorial instinct for hooks and retention
- Organized and self-sufficient with delivery discipline
- Open to feedback and quick to iterate

? Experience Requirements

- 1–4 years of relevant editing experience
- Prior experience with podcast-first or creator-led brand
- Experience editing podcast or talking-head content into short-form clips
