Role Description As a Shopify Developer at Prowess, you will work full time on-site in Phagwara, collaborating with marketing and design teams to build and maintain high-performing Shopify stores. Your daily tasks will include developing custom themes, configuring apps and integrations, optimizing site performance, and ensuring responsive, accessible front-end experiences.

You will implement and modify liquid templates, manage product catalogs and collections, and support A/B tests and conversion-focused changes. The role also involves troubleshooting technical issues,



maintaining clean and secure code, and contributing to the continuous improvement of e-commerce workflows and processes.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Shopify development, including Liquid, theme customization, and app configuration.
- Solid front-end skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
- Experience with e-commerce best practices, site performance optimization, and conversion-focused UX.
- Ability to collaborate with marketing, design, and operations teams and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and basic debugging and troubleshooting techniques.
- Positive analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and code quality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience in retail or omnichannel e-commerce environments is an advantage.
