About the Role

We are seeking a talented and creative Shopify Developer & Designer with 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience to join our team on-site at our Mumbai office. In this role, you will build, customize, and maintain high-performing e-commerce storefronts for our global furniture and home decor clients, bridging the gap between sleek UI design and technical execution.

Key Responsibilities

Store Development & Customization: Build, launch, and manage custom Shopify stores. Customize themes using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and AJAX to fit unique furniture catalog needs.

UI/UX & Visual Design: Design responsive layouts, promotional banners, product landing pages,



and intuitive user interfaces tailored for luxury/furniture e-commerce shoppers.

App Integration & Tech Stack: Integrate and configure essential Shopify apps (product customizers, review widgets, inventory sync, SEO, payment gateways, and logistics).

Performance & Speed Optimization: Optimize site speed, core web vitals, image-heavy catalogs, and mobile responsiveness to maximize conversion rates.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix front-end bugs, Liquid code issues, and cross-browser compatibility glitches efficiently.

SEO & Conversion Best Practices: Implement standard on-page SEO best practices and UI tweaks to improve user journeys and reduce cart abandonment.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: 2–3 years of proven experience developing and designing custom Shopify stores (portfolio required).

Work Setup: Must be available to work in office at our office in Mumbai.

Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3/SASS, JavaScript, and jQuery.

Design Tools: Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, or Illustrator for creating site mockups, banners, and digital assets.

E-Commerce Insight: Solid understanding of UI/UX principles, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and mobile-first design.

Problem-Solving: Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to troubleshoot theme bugs and third-party app conflicts.

Preferred Skills (Plus)

Prior experience working on furniture, home decor, or luxury retail e-commerce projects.

Basic understanding of Shopify Plus features or Storefront APIs.
