1. This role involves coordinating and optimizing fermentation operations to ensure the efficient and cost-effective production of high-quality products.
2. Foster a positive and safety-conscious work setting, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
3. Oversee and manage the entire fermentation process, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs), Hands on experience to handle 25L to 50KL fermenters.
4. Proven experience in fermentation production, with a focus on microbial or biochemical processes.
5. Familiarity with TQM methodology, process optimization and continuous improvements.
6. Drive the TQM implementation, drive with coordination of central team.
7. Lead and motivate a team of production operators, ensuring they are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
8. Collaborate with the production planning team to develop and execute production schedules that meet product demand while considering resource availability and equipment constraints.

Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule and perform routine maintenance on fermentation equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal functionality.
10. Collaborate with the R&D; team to optimize fermentation processes, improving efficiency and yield.
11. Identify and troubleshoot issues related to microbial contamination, proposing, and implementing corrective actions.
12. Prepare regular reports for management, summarizing production performance and suggesting strategies for improvement.
13. Preparation/Review of SOP, Preventive Maintenance schedule/planner, Documentation etc.
14. Shift scheduling, Manpower planning, reporting & Shift operations.
15. Contract / Service provider Manpower/activities planning, reporting.
Preferred candidate profile: Male candidate only with experience of 4-6 Years experience from Fermentation industry
Knowledge on TQM & problem solving

B.E Chemical, B.Tech - Bio Technology, MSc. Microbiology
