Job Overview We are seeking an experienced SFTP L1/L2 Engineer with expertise in Managed File Transfer (MFT) platforms, particularly Globalscape EFT. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting, monitoring, and maintaining secure file transfer services while ensuring high availability, security, compliance, and SLA adherence.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide L2 operational support for Globalscape EFT (MFT) environments.
- Monitor and manage secure file transfer services to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Handle incidents, service requests, and problem tickets related to file transfer platforms.
- Troubleshoot connectivity, authentication, permissions, and file transfer issues.
- Manage user provisioning, access controls, SSH keys, and PGP encryption keys.
- Support onboarding of current partners, clients, and secure file transfer workflows.
- Coordinate with L3 teams for escalations, root cause analysis, and major incident resolution.
- Support patching, upgrades, and configuration changes within MFT environments.
- Ensure compliance with security standards, encryption requirements, and audit controls.
- Participate in Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes.
- Maintain SOPs, runbooks, operational documentation,



and knowledge repositories.
- Work closely with infrastructure, security, application, and vendor teams to ensure service reliability.

Required Skills Mandatory

- 4-6 years of experience in Secure File Transfer or Network Security environments.
- Hands-on experience with Globalscape EFT (Enhanced File Transfer).

- Strong knowledge of

- SFTP

- FTPS

- SCP

- HTTPS File Transfer Protocols

- Experience with

- SSH Key Authentication

- PGP Encryption

- Access Management
- Understanding of firewalls, proxies, and network security fundamentals.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for file transfer failures, authentication issues, and access-related incidents.
- Working knowledge of ITIL processes including Incident, Change, and Problem Management.

Preferred

- Experience with PowerShell, Python, Bash, or other scripting technologies.
- Exposure to compliance frameworks such as PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and SOX.
- Experience integrating MFT solutions with enterprise applications, banking platforms, ERP systems, or trading platforms.
- Familiarity with other MFT tools such as:

- Axway

- IBM Sterling

- TIBCO MFT

Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Certifications

- Managed File Transfer (MFT) Certifications.
- Security Certifications.
- Relevant Infrastructure or Network Security Certifications.
