Job Title - ServiceNow BCM Developer – IRM & GRC

Location - Bengaluru / Hyderabad (Hybrid Mode)

Responsible for the end‑to‑end design, development, testing, and governance of BCM‑related applications on ServiceNow (e.g., Risk, Business Continuity, Incident/Problem/Change, CMDB, and related integrations). The role acts as a technical bridge between enterprise BCM / GRC teams and the ServiceNow platform, ensuring solutions are scalable, compliant, and aligned with ITSM and IRM best practices. Key responsibilities

Design and develop BCM‑specific configurations and applications on ServiceNow (e.g., Business Continuity, Risk registers, incident‑impact assessments, crisis‑management workflows).

Build and maintain automated workflows using Flow Designer, approvals, notifications, and orchestration to support BCM processes (e.g., plan activation, scenario testing, impact escalation).

Implement and secure custom tables, fields, ACLs, dashboards, and reporting for BCM stakeholders (e.g., crisis‑management dashboards, recovery‑time‑objective tracking).

Integrate ServiceNow BCM with CMDB, Discovery, ITSM, and external GRC / BCM tools via REST/SOAP, MID Server, and integration frameworks.

Lead technical design, code reviews, unit/UAT testing, and update‑set governance for BCM modules, ensuring alignment with platform standards and release cycles.

Mentor junior developers, document solutions,



and participate in agile ceremonies with BCM / GRC / ITSM teams. Technology and platform skills Robust hands‑on experience with ServiceNow platform (ITSM, GRC/IRM, BCM, CMDB, CSDM, and related modules).

Proficiency in Client Scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, REST APIs, ACLs, and Flow Designer.

Experience with CMDB, Service Graph, Discovery, and mid‑tier integrations (e.g., APIs, SFTP, message queues).

Familiarity with Agile/DevOps practices, CI/CD‑style update‑set management, and basic testing frameworks (ATF, manual/automated testing). Soft skills and collaboration Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills to translate BCM / GRC requirements into technical designs.

Ability to work closely with BCM, Risk, and ITSM teams, clarifying business impact, risk appetite, and escalation patterns into workflows.

Comfortable leading technical discussions, mentoring junior developers, and documenting architecture and deployment plans Typical qualifications

6–8+ years of IT experience, with 4–6+ years on ServiceNow platform, including at least 2–3 years with BCM, GRC, IRM.

Proven experience designing and delivering scalable, production‑grade ServiceNow solutions for multi‑tenant or enterprise environments.
