Role Description The Service Engineer-Trainee is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for supporting installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment at customer locations. Typical day-to-day activities include assisting senior engineers in diagnosing technical issues, performing routine checks, and carrying out basic repairs under guidance.

The role involves documenting service activities, preparing reports, and communicating clearly with customers and internal teams about work performed and next steps. The trainee will follow established safety procedures, learn company standards and best practices, and participate in training sessions to build technical and customer service capabilities.



This position offers hands-on exposure to field service operations and opportunities for growth into independent service responsibilities.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills to identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Candidates should possess Field Service capabilities, including working at customer sites, managing on-site tasks, and adapting to varied environments.
- Candidates should possess clear Communication skills to interact with customers, colleagues, and supervisors, and to prepare basic service documentation.
- Candidates should possess Technical Support skills to assist in responding to service requests and providing timely assistance to users.
- Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair abilities to perform routine checks, preventive maintenance, and basic corrective repairs under supervision.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in engineering (e.g., Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related fields) are preferred.
- Ability to learn quickly, follow safety protocols, and work collaboratively in a team-oriented, customer-focused environment.
- Willingness to travel locally for field assignments and flexibility to work with varying schedules based on service requirements.
