Hiring: Senior x86 BIOS/UEFI Developer

We are looking for experienced x86 BIOS/UEFI Developers to join a leading global technology company. If you have strong expertise in BIOS firmware development, platform bring-up, and x86 architecture, we'd love to connect with you.

Mandatory Skills:

- 815 years of experience in x86 BIOS/UEFI development.
- Strong expertise in C programming.
- Experience with x86 CPU/APU architectures and associated compilation tools.
- Hands-on experience with BIOS codebases such as AMI, Insyde, Phoenix BIOS, Coreboot, or EDK II.
- Experience in platform bring-up and BIOS preparation.
- Strong understanding of BIOS boot stages (SEC, PEI, DXE, BDS), PCDs, UPDs, memory map, SPI ROM, FSP, device tree, and BIOS handoff to the OS bootloader.
- Knowledge of BIOS interactions with EC, BMC, Security Processor, Power Management Firmware, and Memory Training Firmware.
- Hands-on experience with protocols including I2C, PCIe, SPI, eSPI, ACPI, SMM, IPMI, and UEFI.




- Experience using hardware debugging tools such as AMD HDT, BIOS Debugger, ITP, Arium, etc.
- Robust understanding of Coreboot and Intel FSP, including experience working with FSP source code.
- Experience with Coreboot payloads such as EDK II, SeaBIOS, U-Boot, LinuxBoot, and Tianocore.
- Experience in UEFI bootloader or UEFI application development, particularly with AHCI, SATA, and NVMe storage protocols.
- Experience with Android UEFI-based Bootloader for x86 is an added advantage.
- Ability to interpret processor and platform hardware specifications for motherboard/platform porting.
- Good understanding of UEFI framework concepts and storage protocols.
- Exposure to pre-silicon BIOS development in simulation/emulation environments.
- Experience with emulation platforms such as Synopsys Zebu ZS5, Cadence Palladium, or Siemens Veloce.
