Job Title: Senior Video Editor

We are hiring a Senior Video Editor to own the entire editing function at Indian Farmer.

This role is responsible for all video edits published by the brand, end-to-end. The editor is accountable for creative quality, delivery speed, and building systems so editing runs independently and at scale.

This is a high-ownership, high-output, creative, in-office role.

Key Responsibilities: Editing Ownership: Edit all videos published by Indian Farmer, including long-form, short-form, podcasts, courses and experimental formats. Ensure strong storytelling, pacing, retention, subtitles, BGM usage, sound design, and visual consistency.

Creative Judgment: Define and execute narrative flow, hooks, transitions, on-screen text (bullets, captions), graphics, animations, and visual rhythm, aligned with current platform trends and algorithms.

Speed & Execution: Manage multiple projects in parallel and deliver fast while meeting defined quality benchmarks and timelines.

Systems & Operations: Create and maintain editing SOPs, workflows, templates, documentation and file structures.

Ownership: Own the editing software stack, hardware requirements, data storage, and data hygiene.

Course Editing: Edit courses and training videos in a clear, instructional style.



Structure content into modules and lessons with pacing built for comprehension and retention.

Instructional Design: Add step-by-step callouts, on-screen labels, zoom-ins, annotations, and explainer graphics. Maintain reusable course templates and title cards for visual consistency across every lesson.

AI & Tools: Use AI tools for editing and workflow optimisation. Regularly upgrade tools and document best practices. Qualifications:

∙ Experience: 3–6years of professional video editing experience or an equivalent portfolio. ∙ Course Editing: Experience editing educational, course, or explainer content with an instructional, training-video approach.

∙ Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of video codecs, formats, and export settings for different platforms.

∙ Tools: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.

∙ Creative Skills: Strong storytelling ability with control over pace, structure, color grading, audio mixing, motion graphics, and visual judgment.

∙ Text & Language: Strong command of English and Hindi for on-screen text and captions. Marathi is a bonus.

∙ AI & Adaptability: Hands-on experience using AI tools and workflows.

∙ Execution Mindset: Fast, reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable with full ownership.
