Role Description The Senior Travel Consultant is a full-time, hybrid role based in Malappuram, with flexibility for some work-from-home responsibilities. The role involves advising clients on travel options, preparing customized itineraries, and managing complex travel arrangements for corporate and individual travelers. Daily tasks include handling reservations and ticketing, coordinating flights, hotels, and ground transportation, and ensuring accurate documentation for all bookings.

The role also includes maintaining strong relationships with vendors, staying updated on travel regulations and industry trends, and supporting junior team members with guidance and best practices.

Qualifications

- Strong Travel Consulting skills, including advising on itineraries, destinations, and suitable travel solutions.
- Experience in Travel Management, covering end-to-end oversight of corporate and leisure travel needs.
- Proficiency in Travel Arrangements and Reservations, including booking flights, hotels, and other services through GDS or booking platforms.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with the ability to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain client satisfaction.
- Prior experience as a Senior Travel Consultant or in a similar senior travel role.
- Knowledge of international and domestic travel regulations, documentation, and visa requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, manage time independently, and collaborate with onsite and remote team members.
- Proficiency with travel booking systems and standard office software; familiarity with GDS (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) is an advantage.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is preferred.
