Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Transformation Consultant to lead supply chain strategy and network design engagements. The ideal candidate will analyze complex supply chain data, build optimization scenarios, create strong investment cases, and present strategic recommendations to senior executive stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end supply chain diagnostics covering footprint, cost-to-serve, inventory positioning, and route-to-market.

Build and analyze network design models including DC/plant location, scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and constraint modelling.

Develop logistics and transportation cost models to identify and quantify optimization opportunities.

Translate data-driven insights into board-ready business cases covering capex, opex, NPV, payback, risks, and benefits.

Present findings and defend recommendations with C-suite leaders and executive committees.

Lead project workstreams and guide junior analysts within engagement teams.

Support supply chain transformation initiatives focused on operating model, network efficiency, and cost optimization.

Required Skills

8 to 15 years of experience in supply chain strategy, network design, or operations transformation.

Proven experience leading network optimization or supply chain footprint studies end to end.

Strong quantitative modelling skills with hands-on capability to build and interrogate models.

Experience in developing business cases that have secured executive-level approval.

Strong understanding of logistics cost modelling, inventory positioning,



and route-to-market analysis.

Excellent structured communication, stakeholder management, and executive storytelling skills.

Ability to work directly with senior leadership and present strategic recommendations confidently.

Preferred Background

Candidates with experience from any of the below backgrounds will be preferred:

Big 4 consulting firms such as Deloitte, EY, PwC, or KPMG.

Consulting firms such as Accenture, Kearney, 4flow, Miebach, Argon & Co, Maine Pointe, or similar specialist supply chain consulting firms.

Network Design or Supply Chain Planning leadership roles within global FMCG, consumer goods, or Food & Beverage organizations.

Candidates with a combination of consulting experience and in-house operational experience will be highly preferred. Good to Have Skills

Experience with network modelling tools such as Coupa Supply Chain Guru, Optilogic Cosmic Frog, anyLogistix, or AIMMS.

Exposure to analytics tools such as advanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Python, R, or Alteryx.

MBA or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Research, Engineering, Economics, or related fields.

Prior experience in Food & Beverage, FMCG, or Consumer Goods sector.

Education





Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Economics, or related field.

MBA or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Research, Engineering, or Economics will be an added advantage.

Working hours: 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM IST

Travel Requirement: Candidate should be open to travel internationally as and when required

Note: This is a supply chain strategy and transformation role, not a systems implementation role. Platform expertise in SAP, WMS, Blue Yonder, or TMS is not mandatory.
