Technical Project Manager – Microsoft Fabric, Power BI & Azure Data Platform

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead enterprise-scale Microsoft Fabric and Power BI modernization programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure Data Services, and Data Engineering while managing cross-functional teams, project delivery, stakeholder communication, risks, and governance.

The TPM will act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, solution architects, data engineers, BI developers, infrastructure teams, and executive leadership to ensure successful delivery of enterprise analytics initiatives. This role requires excellent project management, technical coordination, Agile delivery, budgeting, and enterprise program governance experience.

Key Responsibilitie sProject & Program Managemen

- tLead end-to-end delivery of Microsoft Fabric and Power BI implementation and modernization projects
- .Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, resource allocation, and delivery roadmaps
- .Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, dependencies, risks, and change requests
- .Track project progress and ensure timely delivery of all project milestones
- .Prepare executive dashboards, project status reports, RAID logs, and KPI metrics

.Technical Coordinatio

- nWork closely with Solution Architects, Data Engineers, Power BI Developers, Azure Engineers, and DBAs
- .Coordinate implementation of Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Lakehouse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Power BI solutions
- .Ensure ETL/ELT development, reporting, testing, deployment, and production releases are delivered according to plan
- .Facilitate technical discussions, architecture reviews, sprint planning,



and release management
- .Coordinate legacy BI migration projects from Tableau, SSRS, or OBIEE to Microsoft Fabric and Power BI

.Stakeholder Managemen

- tServe as the primary point of contact for clients, business users, and executive leadership
- .Gather business requirements and translate them into technical deliverables
- .Conduct project governance meetings, steering committee updates, and executive presentations
- .Manage stakeholder expectations and drive issue resolution across multiple teams

.Agile Delivery & Governanc

- eLead Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
- .Maintain product backlog, sprint tracking, and release planning using Azure DevOps or Jira
- .Identify project risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies

- .Ensure compliance with enterprise governance, security, quality assurance, and change management processes

.Quality & Delivery Assuranc

- eMonitor project quality, testing, deployment readiness, and production support
- .Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production deployments, and post-implementation support
- .Ensure documentation, knowledge transfer, and operational handover are completed
- .Drive continuous improvement initiatives and delivery best practices
