Job Purpose / Objective

Supervise, manage, and oversee day-to-day operations of the data center

, ensuring effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of

Windows-based servers

. Maintain core IT server systems to support uninterrupted organizational operations.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

- Supervise and guide team members in server installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

- Monitor server performance and lead application software configuration.

- Review daily system integrity, resource availability, logs, and scheduled backups.

- Perform regular security checks to detect intrusions.

- Provide training on latest technology trends.

- Oversee backup operations and ensure successful system/data recovery.

- Troubleshoot data center system issues within the allocated domain.

- Recover from hardware/software failures and coordinate with stakeholders.

- Implement current server technologies aligned with strategic plans.

- Monitor, configure, and optimize Domain Controllers.

- Recommend staff training and skill enhancement initiatives.

- Design/implement Active Directory Group Policies per organizational needs.

- Enforce IT security policies.





- Configure/maintain enterprise storage systems (SAN/NAS).

- Maintain backup/recovery plans.

- Monitor network communications.

- Oversee server-side infrastructure maintenance/monitoring.

- Configure/sustain network infrastructure.

- Recommend system upgrades.

- Plan/execute software version deployments.

- Review staff performance and address operational challenges.

Job Specifications

Education / Professional Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Experience

- 5+ years in data center/server administration.

- Healthcare IT experience preferred.

Certifications

- Microsoft Technology Certifications (e.g., MCSA).
