POSITION DETAILS

Position Summary The Manufacturing Sourcing Specialist is responsible for sourcing raw materials, components, equipment, and manufacturing services to support production requirements. This role focuses on supplier identification, cost optimization, contract negotiation, supplier performance management, and ensuring uninterrupted supply to manufacturing operations while maintaining quality, delivery, and cost objectives.

Principal Activities

- Supplier development for Current Product Development
- Supplier Onboarding in alignment with Sourcing & Quality guidelines
- Conduct supplier market analysis and benchmarking activities.
- Drive localization and supplier diversification initiatives to reduce supply chain risks.
- Analyze spend data and purchasing trends.
- Prepare sourcing reports, cost-saving reports, and supplier scorecards.
- Track procurement KPIs and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Supplier Score card & Dashboard review and publish.
- Supplier Monthly Capability analysis
- Supplier performance review
- Supplier process improvements to obtain PPV.
- Supplier risk identification & corrective actions to Meet Customer Delivery
- Extensive knowledge of inventory management concepts.
- Inventory Control based on Inventory Turns to meet KPI Target
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through value engineering and process improvements.




- Improve Supplier Accounts payable days and ensure Material Planning of plan vs actual to Control inventory
- To Lead New Project development related Supplier activity
- Material Visibility risk analysis and Review to achieve target for Monthly Revenue & COTD
- Coordinate with supplier for price negotiation and price contract to Obtain Cost Saving
- Coordinate with Plant Quality for supporting Supplier Quality issue
- Coordinate with Plant SCM and support for Supplier challenges
- Procurement Lead time Reduction

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

- Understanding of overall materials flow and other functions linked to the Supply Chain.
- Price negotiation, price analysis, supplier selection.
- ERP knowledge:
- Extensive knowledge of inventory management concepts.
- High ethical standards. Models and supports organization’s goals and values; adapts to changing conditions; demonstrates persistence and overcomes obstacles.

Education

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering mechanical /production

Experience

- 15–18 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing direct materials, components, mechanical/electrical parts, or industrial equipment sourcing. Preferably in procurement activities related to Pipes, Fittings, On-off valves, Safety valves, Instruments.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
