Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright with Python.
- Create and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
- Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and product owners to understand business requirements and ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Perform UI automation testing for modern web applications across multiple browsers.
- Develop and maintain API automation tests using REST APIs.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and release activities.
- Ensure automation scripts are maintainable, reusable, and aligned with coding standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of test processes, tools, and frameworks.

Required Skills :

- 4 -8 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
- Solid hands-on experience with Playwright using Python.
- Good knowledge of Python programming concepts and object-oriented programming.




- Experience in web automation testing for responsive web applications.
- Hands-on experience with API testing using tools such as Postman or REST Assured (or equivalent Python libraries).
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with BDD frameworks such as Behave or Cucumber.
- Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Experience with performance or load testing tools is an added advantage.
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in automation testing or software quality are a plus.
