Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design and build intelligent integrations that connect our clinical, business, and enterprise systems. This role combines traditional software engineering with modern AI and automation technologies to eliminate manual work, streamline business processes, and accelerate digital transformation.

You will build APIs, system integrations, AI-powered workflows, robotic process automation (RPA), browser automation, and data pipelines across cloud applications, EHRs, ERP systems, Microsoft 365, Salesforce, and other enterprise platforms. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys solving difficult integration problems and leveraging AI to automate repetitive business processes.

What You'll Do

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable REST APIs and backend services.
- Build integrations between enterprise platforms using APIs, webhooks, HL7/FHIR, SFTP, file processing, and messaging technologies.
- Develop AI-powered automation solutions using modern LLMs, AI agents, and workflow orchestration platforms.
- Build robotic process automation (RPA) solutions for systems without modern APIs.
- Develop browser automation solutions for web applications that cannot be integrated through APIs.
- Create resilient automation workflows for interacting with legacy web portals, payer systems, provider portals, and other third-party applications.
- Build data extraction, transformation, synchronization, and scraping solutions where appropriate and compliant.
- Design event-driven architectures for reliable system-to-system communication.
- Automate business workflows across clinical, operational, finance, and HR systems.
- Build reusable integration frameworks and internal developer tooling.
- Create monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational dashboards for integration health.
- Optimize reliability, scalability, security,



and performance of enterprise integrations.
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities with measurable ROI.
- Mentor junior engineers and establish engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications

- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Robust experience designing and building production APIs.
- Extensive experience integrating third-party SaaS platforms.
- Hands-on experience with browser automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or Puppeteer.
- Experience building enterprise automation and RPA solutions.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-native application architecture.
- Experience with authentication protocols including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML, and JWT.




- Experience with asynchronous processing and distributed systems.
- Strong SQL and database design skills.
- Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience building AI agents and autonomous workflows.
- Experience integrating healthcare applications and EHR systems.
- Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, HIPAA, and healthcare security requirements.
- Experience automating interactions with legacy enterprise applications and web portals.
- Experience with OCR, computer vision, or intelligent document processing.
- Experience building ETL and data engineering pipelines.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience with observability platforms such as Datadog, Grafana, or CloudWatch.

You're equally comfortable writing production APIs, integrating enterprise software, automating browser-based workflows, building AI agents, and deploying RPA solutions. You understand that many enterprise environments contain a mix of modern APIs and legacy applications, and you know how to build robust automation solutions across both.
