We are building a brand-new crypto exchange – a secure, high-performance digital asset trading platform comparable to Binance or Coinbase – and our Crypto Exchange department would like to welcome a detail-oriented Our Crypto department would like to welcome a details oriented, Senior Software Development Engineer in Test in our office in Bangalore As our SDET, you will own the quality and integration testing strategy for a money-critical crypto exchange platform.

You will build and maintain the integration test infrastructure that validates our Go backend services and React web application end-to-end – ensuring trading, wallet, and settlement flows are reliable, correct, and production-ready before every release. Responsibilities

Design and build integration test frameworks in Go and/or Python that validate interactions across backend microservices – including order management, trade execution, wallet, market data, and settlement services.

Build integration and end-to-end tests for the React web trading platform, covering critical user journeys such as placing orders, managing portfolios,



and viewing market data.

Own test pipeline stages in Azure Pipelines; define quality gates that block releases when integration or E2E tests fail.

Create test data strategies and environment tooling for realistic exchange scenarios including multi-service flows, partial fills, and cross-service state consistency.

Drive performance and load testing for backend services using k6 or JMeter; define and track SLOs for critical trading flows.

Collaborate with backend and frontend engineers on API contracts, integration points, and release readiness; document coverage gaps.

Investigate production failures, reproduce defects in test environments, and contribute actionable findings to post-mortems.

Skills & Competencies

Strong programming skills in Go and/or Python; able to write clean, maintainable test code at production quality.

Hands-on experience with API integration testing across microservice architectures (REST, gRPC, event-driven).

Experience with web E2E automation tools such as Playwright or Cypress for testing React applications.

Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Azure Pipelines, and test environment management.

Performance and load testing experience (k6, JMeter, or Gatling) with the ability to analyse and act on results.

Strong quality mindset; transparent communicator and collaborator.

Experience Requirements

3–7 years of experience in SDET, QA automation, or test engineering roles.

Built, maintained,



and scaled integration and E2E test suites across both backend services and web frontends.

Tested REST/gRPC APIs, event-driven systems, and complex stateful, data-driven flows. Nice to Have

Experience testing trading platforms, payment systems, fintech, or real-time data services.

Familiarity with contract testing (e.g., Pact), chaos/resilience testing, and security testing fundamentals.

Exposure to Azure Pipelines, Azure Test Plans, New Relic, and feature flagging tools.

Understanding of financial transaction correctness, audit requirements, and cross-service consistency. Perks
