The Role: We are looking for a hands-on Senior Software Developer who can help turn evolving product needs into dependable software. You will contribute across frontend, backend, data, integrations, testing, and operations, while supporting the growth of early-career engineers.

Your impact will go beyond the code you write. You will help the team make thoughtful technical decisions, improve delivery consistency, strengthen engineering practices, and deliver reliable outcomes.

What You'll Do: Work with product and engineering teammates to clarify requirements and shape practical technical approaches

Design, build, test, release, and support functionality across the full stack

Develop maintainable interfaces, APIs, services, integrations, data models, migrations, and asynchronous workflows

Improve a shared codebase by promoting clear, reusable, and maintainable patterns

Build security, privacy, performance, and operational reliability into the development process

Break complex work into changes that are understandable, reviewable, testable, and straightforward to release





Write meaningful automated tests appropriate to the scope and impact of each change

Investigate issues across applications, networks, databases, integrations, and environments

Review code with attention to correctness, clarity, maintainability, security, and system impact

Mentor junior engineers and interns through code review, pairing, and technical discussion

Participate in production support and communicate progress, questions, and tradeoffs openly

Contribute to a culture of constructive feedback, shared ownership, and continuous improvement What We're Looking For We value transferable engineering judgment more than experience with a particular language or framework. You may be a strong fit if you bring most of the following: Around five or more years of professional software-development experience, or equivalent evidence of senior-level capability

Strong foundations in programming, modular design, asynchronous execution, networking, and error handling

Production experience with browser-based applications and backend services or APIs

Experience with databases, data modeling, migrations, resilience, and asynchronous or distributed systems

Strong automated-testing skills and a thoughtful, methodical approach to debugging A practical understanding of authentication, authorization, validation, secrets management, data protection, and secure web-development practices

Experience with Git, pull requests, continuous integration, deployments, observability, and production support

Evidence of technical ownership,



transparent communication, mentoring, and effective independent work An agentic approach to engineering: exploring problems proactively, breaking work into clear steps, validating assumptions, and using feedback to improve outcomes

Experience with, or a strong interest in, using agentic development tools such as Claude Code or Codex to support codebase exploration, implementation, testing, debugging, and documentation The ability to use these tools thoughtfully to increase delivery capacity and broaden your impact while maintaining strong engineering judgment, review, and accountability An interest in staying current with developments in AI-enabled software delivery, evaluating new approaches pragmatically, and sharing effective tools and practices with the team We particularly value engineers who know how to make full use of modern development tools—not simply to generate more code, but to understand problems faster, evaluate alternatives, improve quality, and deliver more meaningful outcomes.
