For more information, visit www.blend360.com We are seeking a Senior Simulation & Optimization Engineer with strong expertise in AnyLogic simulation modeling to develop enterprise-scale simulation, optimization, and digital twin solutions. This role combines simulation engineering, operations research, software development, and data science to solve complex operational challenges across manufacturing, logistics, and industrial environments.

You'll work closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams to build simulation models that support operational planning, scheduling, capacity optimization, and strategic decision-making.

Note: This role must be able to work in EST time zone. Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain AnyLogic simulation models using Java for complex operational and industrial use cases.

Build Discrete Event Simulation (DES), Agent-Based Modeling (ABM), and System Dynamics models to evaluate business scenarios and optimize operational performance.

Integrate simulation models with enterprise databases, REST APIs, and production data sources.

Develop optimization models to improve scheduling, resource allocation, production planning, logistics, and energy utilization.

Design simulation experiments, perform scenario analysis, and generate actionable recommendations using simulation-based decision support.





Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate operational challenges into scalable simulation and optimization solutions.

Present analytical findings and business recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.

Support deployment, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of enterprise simulation platforms. Must-Have Skills:

4–10 years of experience in Simulation Modeling, Operations Research, or Industrial Analytics.

Strong commercial experience developing, customizing, integrating, and troubleshooting AnyLogic simulation models.

Hands-on experience with Java development and production-quality software engineering.

Experience working in Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Plant Operations, or Industrial Simulation environments.

Strong understanding of Operations Research, Simulation-based Decision Support, Digital Twins, Optimization Techniques.

Experience with optimization techniques such as Bayesian Optimization, Genetic Algorithms Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), CMA-ES, Tabu Search, Multi-objective Optimization.

Experience with Digital Twin platforms, Experiment design for computationally intensive simulations, Performance optimization and result caching, Mentoring team members and collaborating with industrial stakeholders will be an added advantage.

Experience integrating applications with Databases, REST APIs, and enterprise data platforms.

Experience in Python, SQL, REST APIs, cloud platforms, data engineering, parallel processing, or dashboard/workflow integration is highly regarded.





Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate simulation outcomes into business recommendations.

Production Integration: Connect AnyLogic simulation models with live plant and enterprise databases.

Model Validation: Validate simulation outputs and quantify measurable operational improvements.

Solution Expansion: Extend simulation capabilities to additional plants and use cases including scheduling, logistics, and energy optimization.

Operationalization: Develop dashboards, planning workflows, recurring simulation studies, and provide long-term production support.
