ORGANISATION RELATIONSHIPS

Position reports to TOP Management Mail Profile to: [email protected] ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Primary positionPrimary position Objective -To be responsible for the supply of Products and Services essential for Shipyard’s operation’s.

- Strategizing to find out the most cost –effective deals & suppliers , Discover the best ways to minimize procurement expenses & Inventory control so that the Shipyard can invest in its growth and people.

Key responsibilities · Discover the most profitable suppliers and initiate business partnerships · Negotiate with external venders to secure the most advantageous terms. · Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services. · Finalize details of orders and deliveries as per plan and requirement. · Examine and re-evaluate existing contracts. · Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.



· Collaborate with key persons to ensure the clarity of the specifications and expectation of the Shipyard. · Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients. · Anticipate unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies. · Perform risk management regarding supply, contracts and agreements. · Cash flow projection with Finance. · Control spend and build a culture of long term saving on procurement & inventory. · Process all relevant documentation w.r. t. subcontracting function. · Liaise with Central Excise / Customs /statutory dept. and maintain valuable relations and keep necessary documents update.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES · Diploma / Degree in relevant field or · Significant experience in relevant field · Good analytical, negotiation and estimation skills.
