Role Description The Senior Services Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi , responsible for leading and executing field service activities for diesel generators. This position oversees preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs for a wide range of generator capacities, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operation at client locations.

Engineer will plan and coordinate service visits, perform root-cause analysis of technical issues, provide on-site technical support, and guide junior service technicians. The role includes preparing service reports,



advising clients on best practices for equipment care, and collaborating with the engineering and operations teams to improve service processes.

Engineer will also support emergency response calls, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and uphold company standards for safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills for diesel generator systems and related electrical equipment.
- Candidates should possess solid Field Service experience, including on-site diagnostics, commissioning, and client-facing service delivery.
- Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair expertise in diesel engines, alternators, control panels, and associated power systems.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordinating with clients, documenting service activities, and collaborating with internal teams.
- Diploma or degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering (or related field), with several years of relevant service experience, preferably in power generation.
- Good understanding of safety practices, electrical regulations, and industry standards for generator installation and operation.
- Ability to lead and mentor junior technicians, manage multiple service assignments, and work flexible hours for emergency support when needed.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, interpreting technical manuals, and basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
