Hiring: Senior SAP PLM Functional Consultant / Team Lead | Bengaluru (Hybrid)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP PLM Functional Consultant / Team Lead to lead functional enhancements across custom-built SAP PLM applications for a global Digital R&D; transformation program.

The ideal candidate will work closely with global product owners and business stakeholders to drive requirement discovery, functional design, solution configuration, testing, and hypercare across SAP S/4HANA 2022.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead requirement gathering and discovery workshops with business stakeholders and product owners.
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and build-ready solution designs.
- Own the end-to-end functional lifecycle, including solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
- Drive enhancements across SAP PLM capabilities, including:
- Manage Specification (MS)
- Manage Recipe (MR)
- Mass Change
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure scalable, high-quality solution delivery.
- Support SIT, UAT, defect management, and production deployment activities.
- Provide functional leadership and mentor junior SAP PLM consultants.
- Work closely with global cross-functional teams in an Agile/DevOps delivery environment.
- Ensure solutions align with SAP best practices and Clean Core principles.

Required Skills & Experience




- 8–15+ years of SAP functional consulting experience.
- Strong expertise in SAP PLM on SAP S/4HANA .
- Hands-on experience with:
- Manage Specification
- Manage Recipe
- Mass Change
- Experience in SAP Fiori-based PLM applications.
- Solid knowledge of SAP PLM business processes and product lifecycle management.
- Experience preparing Functional Specifications (FS), configuration documents, test scripts, and user documentation.
- Strong exposure to SIT, UAT, production support, and hypercare activities.
- Experience working directly with global business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently drive workshops and solution discussions.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA 2022 implementations or upgrades.
- Experience working in Agile, DevOps, or Product-based delivery models.
- Exposure to Digital R&D;, FMCG, Consumer Goods, Food & Beverage, or Manufacturing industries.
- SAP PLM certification is an added advantage.
