Role: Sr Datasphere consultant

1 year-100% Remote-Night Shift

Client needs SAP BW to Datasphere transformation/migration

Must Haves

- 5+ years of SAP data platform experience with at least 1+ year focused on SAP Datasphere architecture and development
- Proven experience designing and implementing end-to-end integration architectures between SAP Datasphere and SAP systems including S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, and SAC
- Hands-on experience configuring Datasphere Connections, Spaces, security models, roles/authorizations, and connectivity frameworks
- Deep understanding of Datasphere connectors and integration technologies used to connect SAP and non-SAP systems
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning experience across Datasphere, SAC, BW/4HANA, and source systems
- Experience with SAP BW/4HANA object types including ADSOs and Composite Providers
- Hands-on experience implementing and troubleshooting delta load processes
- Experience integrating hierarchies from BW/4HANA and S/4HANA into SAP Datasphere
- Experience developing and optimizing SAP HANA Calculation Views and ABAP CDS Views
- Strong analytical,



problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills

Plusses

- Replication Flow experience (initial load, delta handling, source‑side triggers) and SAC Live & Import connection experience; familiarity with SAC planning concepts
- Experience moving data from SAC back into Datasphere using SAP‑provided export APIs
- Exposure to SAC AI initiatives or POCs
- Strong SAP BW/HANA modeling and performance‑tuning background

Day to Day

This role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining SAP Datasphere data models and integration pipelines, with a robust focus on supporting inbound and outbound data integrations across both SAP and non‑SAP sources. The individual will enable and optimize SAP Analytics Cloud connectivity with Datasphere and BW while partnering closely with Finance, Supply Chain, and Enterprise Data stakeholders.

Responsibilities include participating in architecture design reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting, as well as providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers. The role requires the ability to work independently with minimal oversight while owning deliverables end‑to‑end.
