Role Description The Senior ROS2 Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robotics and automation solutions using ROS2, including node development, message passing, and integration with hardware and software components.

The Senior ROS2 Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture, implement real-time communication frameworks, and optimize performance, reliability, and scalability. Daily responsibilities include writing high-quality, testable code, conducting code reviews, debugging complex system issues,



and contributing to continuous improvement of development practices and tools. The role also includes mentoring team members, documenting designs and processes, and working closely with stakeholders to translate requirements into robust, production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in ROS2 development, including node architecture, topics, services, and middleware configuration.
- Solid programming skills in C++ and/or Python for robotics, real-time systems, and distributed applications.
- Experience with robotics frameworks, sensor integration, perception, navigation, and control systems.
- Background in Linux-based development, build systems (CMake, colcon), and version control (Git).
- Knowledge of networking, real-time communication, and performance optimization for ROS2-based systems.
- Familiarity with simulation and visualization tools such as Gazebo, RViz, or similar environments.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, mentor peers, and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and documentation best practices is beneficial.
- Prior work on production-grade robotics or autonomous systems projects is a strong advantage.
