About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team at Accops. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products, particularly in the areas of networking, virtualization, and security solutions.

The Senior QA Engineer will lead testing initiatives, develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products to our customers. The ideal candidate will possess extensive manual testing experience, strong domain knowledge, and excellent leadership skills to mentor junior team members and manage external testing resources effectively.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will hold a BCA, MCA, BE, or BTech degree, preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology. A minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience in manual testing is required, with a proven track record in leading QA teams and managing testing projects.

Strong understanding of networking concepts,



virtualization platforms, and security protocols is essential. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to evolving project requirements. Additional knowledge of automation testing, performance testing tools, web services testing, and container technologies will be considered advantageous.

Responsibilities The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for overseeing all QA activities related to product releases, ensuring adherence to quality standards and delivery timelines.

Key responsibilities include acting as the primary point of contact for QA aspects of releases, leading and mentoring QA team members, and managing external contract testers. The role involves performing root cause analysis on complex issues related to networking or virtualization, and guiding teams in understanding requirements and designing boundary test cases and efficient testing models.

Additionally, the Senior QA Engineer will collaborate with development teams to understand customer requirements, ensuring these are effectively translated into test plans and executed diligently.



Establishing and continuously improving QA processes to optimize product quality and delivery efficiency is a core aspect of this role. The candidate will also be responsible for defining and monitoring quality metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to meet quality goals.

Effective communication with stakeholders, documentation of testing procedures, and supporting product releases with comprehensive reports and guides will be integral to success in this position.
