We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications while driving DevOps automation using GitLab CI/CD. You will collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to build reliable, high-performance solutions, automate deployment processes, and support production environments following modern software engineering and DevOps best practices.

Your tasks

- Developing and maintaining scalable Python applications and backend services
- Building and optimizing GitLab CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, and deployment processes
- Creating SQL queries and UNIX/Linux shell scripts to support application functionality and operational automation
- Integrating applications with REST APIs, databases, and third-party services while troubleshooting production issues
- Collaborating with Agile teams to deliver high-quality software, participating in code reviews, and maintaining technical documentation

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Python application development
- Strong proficiency in Python, object-oriented programming, GitLab CI/CD, Git, SQL, and UNIX/Linux shell scripting
- Good knowledge of REST APIs, relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server), and DevOps practices
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes,



cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and Python frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Django will be an advantage
- Fluent English (minimum B2 level)

Nice to have

- Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform
- Previous work with testing frameworks such as PyTest or UnitTest
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools, including Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk
- Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ
- Understanding of microservices architecture, DevSecOps, cloud-native development, and production release management
