Position Details Job Title: Sr Project Manager - Supply Chain Consultant – Logistics Experience: 12–15 Years Employment Type: Full-Time About The Role We are looking for an experienced Sr Project Manager Supply Chain Consultant specializing in Logistics to drive consulting engagements focused on transportation, warehousing, distribution, and logistics network optimization. The ideal candidate will have 15–18 years of experience in supply chain consulting or industry operations, with a strong track record of delivering transformational logistics solutions that improve cost efficiency, operational performance, customer service, and supply chain resilience. This role requires a blend of strategic consulting, operational expertise, stakeholder management, and business development capabilities.

Key Responsibilities Logistics Consulting & Client Advisory Lead end-to-end logistics transformation engagements—from current-state assessment and opportunity identification to solution design and implementation support.

Advise clients on logistics strategy, including:

Transportation network optimization

Distribution network design

Fleet optimization

Mode selection

3PL/4PL strategy and vendor selection

Last-mile delivery optimization

Conduct logistics cost assessments, freight spend analysis, carrier performance evaluation, and transportation procurement (RFP/RFQ development, carrier negotiations, and rate optimization).

Design and optimize warehouse operations, including layout planning, slotting strategies, labor productivity improvements, warehouse automation, and WMS implementation.

Build logistics network models and perform scenario analysis using tools such as Coupa SCDA (Llamasoft),



AnyLogistix, or equivalent.

Identify opportunities to improve inventory flow, transportation efficiency, warehouse utilization, and customer service levels.

Program & Stakeholder Management Manage multiple consulting engagements, ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality expectations.

Collaborate with client leadership teams to define transformation roadmaps and implementation strategies.

Present recommendations, business cases, and executive-level insights to senior stakeholders and C-suite executives.

Lead cross-functional teams comprising consultants, analysts, and client stakeholders.

Mentor junior consultants and ensure high-quality deliverables and analytical excellence.

Practice

Development & Business Growth Support pre-sales and business development activities, including proposals, client presentations, solution design, and effort estimation.

Develop consulting frameworks, accelerators, reusable assets, and best practices for the logistics consulting practice.

Build trusted relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for cross-selling and account growth.

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.

Master's degree (MBA/Supply Chain/Operations) is preferred.

12+ years of experience in logistics consulting, supply chain transformation, or logistics operations.

Solid expertise in transportation, warehousing, distribution, freight management, and logistics network optimization.

Experience with supply chain modeling tools such as Coupa SCDA (Llamasoft), AnyLogistix, or similar.

Hands-on experience with leading TMS and WMS platforms.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative modeling skills.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.

Proven experience leading client-facing consulting engagements.
