We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Platform Program Manager to join our Embedded Business Unit. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing key engineering initiatives from concept to execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives. As a Platform Program Manager, you will drive the planning, logistics, and delivery of embedded platform and system engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery of products and providing exceptional experiences to our customers.

Responsibilities:

- Define, plan, and drive projects and program plans based on management and senior technical guidance.
- Evaluate technical feasibility of new products by analyzing requirements with software/hardware/IP architects, technical leads, and engineers.
- Develop and manage logistics for system Bill of Materials (BOM) and test equipment, including critical components and costing.
- Create and execute program schedules, considering component dependencies and negotiating staffing plans to support the timeline.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders in product planning, development, and validation activities.
- Establish and maintain a well-developed program plan, including a plan of record, statements of work, project timelines, budget, scope, and quality KPIs.
- Manage cross-functional engagements, including bring up, layout, signal integrity, and compliance. Coordinate external vendor engagements.
- Implement project management best practices, tools, templates, and metrics to drive continuous process improvement within engineering.




- Ensure excellence in resource planning and anticipate and mitigate risks in the development path to optimize engineering costs.
- Accountable for platform design, development, silicon IP enablement, and validation deliverables. Regularly report on status, decisions, and issues to engineering and business leadership.
- Collaborate effectively with senior executives, addressing the needs and requirements of engineering, product management, and customer engineering organizations.

Preferred Experience:

- Technical background in the semiconductor industry with at least 5 years of hands-on technical work and 5 years of program management experience.
- Experience leading hardware/system validation projects with end-to-end knowledge of the platform lifecycle.
- Strong ability to grasp concepts during discussions and translate them into actionable items.
- Proven experience in silicon design/validation, including pre-silicon and post-silicon experience.
- Ability to analyze complex situations, derive insights, and communicate findings/recommendations to senior management.
- Skilled in networking, relationship-building, and driving effective decision-making across multiple functions and organizational levels.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate concepts and processes to stakeholders.
- Analytical, self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and results-oriented.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with diverse teams and communicate progress regularly.
- Experience in a high-pressure environment with competing priorities and tight turnaround times.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence, and Excel is an asset.
