Role Description The Senior Process Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based at Microform Automation’s facility in Coimbatore. This role is responsible for designing, optimizing, and implementing manufacturing processes across machining, fabrication, welding, casting, and precision engineering operations. Day-to-day activities include analyzing process performance, identifying bottlenecks, defining process parameters, and implementing process control strategies to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.

The Senior Process

Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, maintenance, and design to resolve technical issues, support new product introductions,



and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The role also involves documenting standards, training team members on process best practices, and ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations and customer requirements.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess solid skills in Process Engineering and Process Design for complex manufacturing environments.

Candidates should possess expertise in Process Control and Analytical Skills to monitor, evaluate, and improve production performance.

Candidates should possess a solid foundation in mechanical Engineering or related engineering disciplines, with the ability to apply core principles to process optimization.

Candidates should possess experience in continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and familiarity with quality management systems.

Candidates should possess proficiency in data analysis tools, process simulation or modeling software, and standard engineering design tools.

Candidates should possess strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead and mentor junior engineers and technicians.

Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical,, Production, or related field); a master’s degree is an advantage.

Prior experience in heavy manufacturing, precision engineering, or automotive/aerospace supply chains is highly beneficial.
