Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Presales Engineer with deep expertise in telecom domains including RAN, Core, and OSS/BSS. The role involves working closely with sales, delivery, and customers to design and position telecom solutions, respond to RFPs/RFIs, and drive technical engagements with leading CSPs and network vendors. The candidate should have strong exposure to network transformation programs and autonomous network initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead presales engagements for telecom opportunities across RAN, Core, and OSS/BSS domains
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and translate them into scalable solutions
- Own and drive RFP/RFI/RFQ responses, including solution design, effort estimation, and proposal development
- Create end-to-end solution architectures, presentations, and demos aligned with customer needs
- Engage with CSPs and NEPs for technical discussions, workshops, and solution positioning
- Support network transformation initiatives, including cloudification, automation, and OSS/BSS modernization
- Contribute to autonomous network programs, including closed-loop automation, AI-driven operations, and assurance use cases
- Work closely with delivery teams to ensure solution feasibility and execution alignment
- Stay updated with industry trends in 5G, Open RAN, AI/ML, and cloud-native telecom architectures

- Strong hands-on experience in:
- RAN (4G/5G) – architecture, protocols, optimization
- Core Networks (EPC / 5G Core)
- OSS/BSS systems – fault, performance, configuration, and service management

________________________________________ Industry Frameworks & Alliances
- Good understanding and experience with:
- TM Forum frameworks (e.g., eTOM, Open APIs)
- Exposure to AI-driven telecom initiatives and ecosystems such as the AI-RAN Alliance
- Awareness of autonomous network maturity models and industry best practices

Vendor/Product Exposure

- Experience working with leading telecom vendors such as:
- Ericsson
- Nokia
- Huawei
- Cisco
- Rakuten (Open RAN ecosystem preferred)

- Strong experience in:
- solution architecture & design
- effort estimation & pricing inputs
- proposal writing and storytelling
- client presentations, demos, and workshops

- Strong understanding of:

- Open RAN, rApps/xApps, and SMO concepts
- Cloud-native technologies (containers, Kubernetes)
- AI/ML applications in telecom and AIOps frameworks

- Experience working with CSPs on:
- Network transformation programs (cloudification, virtualization, modernization)
- Autonomous networks (closed-loop automation, zero-touch operations)
