We are seeking an experienced individual to join our agile team at Chris Engineering Team. In this position, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining high-quality web applications, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement new features for web applications using PHP.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Maintain and improve existing codebases and troubleshoot issues.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a PHP Developer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
- Experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
Nice to have
- Experience with RESTful API development.
- Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Experience with automated testing tools.
