Role Overview :

We are looking for a Senior Performance Engineer to lead performance testing initiatives for large-scale enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in LoadRunner, Apache JMeter, performance engineering, and application performance optimization. You will be responsible for designing performance strategies, identifying bottlenecks, validating system scalability, and working with development and infrastructure teams to deliver highly available, high-performing applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop comprehensive performance test strategies based on business and technical requirements.
- Design and execute load, stress, endurance, spike, and scalability testing using LoadRunner and JMeter.
- Create reusable performance test scripts for web applications, APIs, and microservices.
- Monitor application, database,



and infrastructure performance during test execution.
- Analyze CPU, memory, thread, database, and network utilization to identify bottlenecks.
- Perform root cause analysis and provide recommendations for application tuning.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, DBAs, and DevOps teams to resolve performance issues.
- Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous performance validation.
- Prepare detailed performance reports, dashboards, and capacity planning recommendations.
- Ensure applications meet predefined SLAs for response time, throughput, scalability, and reliability.

Required Skills :

- 8 - 10 years of experience in Performance Testing and Performance Engineering.
- Hands-on expertise with LoadRunner and Apache JMeter.
- Robust knowledge of performance testing methodologies and workload modelling.
- Experience testing Web Applications, REST APIs, and Microservices.
- Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, Web Services, and Networking.
- Experience with SQL and database performance analysis.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Familiarity with application monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, or Prometheus.
- Experience integrating performance testing into Jenkins or CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
