Role Description The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune. This role involves leading the mechanical design and development of automation equipment, material handling systems, and packaging solutions for industrial applications. The engineer will create and review detailed CAD models and drawings, perform design calculations, and ensure mechanical designs meet performance, safety, and reliability standards.

Daily responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting prototype builds and testing, resolving design issues, and providing technical guidance to junior engineers.



The role also includes documentation of design specifications, continuous improvement of existing systems, and active participation in design reviews with stakeholders and clients.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess solid skills in Design Engineering and Machine Design for industrial automation and equipment development.

Candidates should possess solid Mechanical Engineering knowledge to support calculations, material selection, and system integration.

Candidates should possess experience in Product Design, including concept development, prototyping, and design for manufacturability.

Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling and detailed drafting.

Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Experience in automation, material handling, or packaging machinery, preferably within Food, Dairy, or Beverage industries.

Ability to interpret engineering standards, create technical documentation, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
