Responsibilities, aka, what we’d like you to deliver :
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the non-trade payable process,
improving efficiency and compliance across all areas of accounts payable.
- Drive process improvements, automation, and best practices in non-trade accounts
payable.
- Provide guidance and support in resolving complex payables issues, disputes, and discrepancies.
- Organize training and development opportunities for team members to build their skills
and knowledge in accounts payable and broader finance functions.
- Oversee payment processing and ensure cash flow is optimized by managing payment
schedules for non-trade payables.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of non-trade accounts payable transactions and
related financial data.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accurate and complete
financial reporting.
- Provide analysis and insights into trends in non-trade payables, identifying
opportunities for cost savings or operational improvements.
- Ensure adherence to the company’s internal policies and regulatory requirements in all
aspects of non-trade accounts payable.
- Support internal and external audits by providing relevant documentation and
addressing audit queries related to payables.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant with 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable or finance
operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Experience in
- E-Commerce or quick commerce companies is a solid advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in SAP and MS Excel (advanced functions, including VLOOKUP,
Pivot Tables).
