- Lead the full tender lifecycle for railway infrastructure works, encompassing civil, track, signalling, systems, and related packages.
- Critically review and interpret tender documentation, technical specifications, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and contractual conditions specific to railway projects.
- Formulate comprehensive commercial and technical tender strategies that align with international railway client requirements and prevailing market conditions.
- Collaborate closely with estimation and costing teams to consolidate accurate inputs and produce high-quality, competitive bid submissions.
- Identify and evaluate project risks and opportunities throughout the tender process, embedding appropriate mitigation measures and pricing strategies.
- Prepare detailed commercial submissions, cost summaries, and tender reports for internal governance and client presentation.
- Ensure strict compliance with client requirements,
international standards, and internal policies at every stage of the bidding process.
Qulalifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related discipline.
- 10–15 years of progressive experience in tendering and estimation within the railway sector (EPC projects), including substantial exposure to international projects.
- Demonstrated success in leading high-value railway tender submissions.
- Sound knowledge of international standard forms of contract (particularly FIDIC) and railway-specific technical specifications.
- Willingness and ability to undertake international travel as required.
- Solid strategic and commercial acumen, combined with exceptional attention to detail.
