Roles and Responsibilities :

- Manage the maintenance of vessels, including barge and fleet maintenance, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

- Oversee repair and replacement of equipment such as hydraulics, pumps, and spares management to minimize downtime.

- Coordinate with vendors for vessel repairs and maintenance activities to ensure timely task completion.

- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to reduce breakdowns and extend asset lifespan.

- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations during all maintenance activities.

- Collaborate with other departments to align maintenance strategies with overall business objectives.

Job Requirements :

- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pumps, spares management,



and vessel maintenance practices is required.

- Experience in managing fleet maintenance of various types of vessels, including bulk carriers, tugs, and floating cranes.

- Familiarity with class surveys, hull maintenance, and propeller maintenance is desirable.

- Ability to work independently and lead teams to achieve maintenance goals.

- Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective coordination with vendors and internal stakeholders.

- A robust understanding of preventive maintenance principles and practices is essential.
