Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and development of enterprise-scale backend platforms and payment processing systems.
- Define architecture standards, coding practices, and technical roadmaps.
- Design highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure microservices-based solutions.
- Drive system performance optimization, reliability improvements, and technology modernization initiatives.
- Mentor development teams through code reviews, technical guidance, and architectural governance.
- Collaborate with Product, Business, Security, Infrastructure,



and Leadership teams to deliver strategic initiatives.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements relevant to financial systems.

Desired profile of the candidate

- Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security and other up-to-date java stack technologies
- Relational databases like Oracle/PostgreSQL/MYSQL and any NoSQL database
- Must have experience with REST and XML/JSON/Protobuf
- Strong technical knowledge on various streaming frameworks like Kafka, Apache Flink, Apache Storm and caching solutions like Memcache/Redis etc
- Industry API tooling such as Postman, Castlemock, Apigee, Swagger etc
- Hands-on experience with tools like Splunk, Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, version control and configuration systems like GITLAB, Jenkins, code quality tools like SonarQube, Fortify, Veracode etc
- Application security standards like OWASP
- Git (Gitlab / Github)
- Strong analytical skills, with high problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Keep up the pace with the latest technology and developments in the industry

Good to Have

- Knowledge in the Payments domain
- Cloud-Native Design & Containerisation (Docker)
- Knowledge of AWS (Or any other Cloud Platform)
