India delivery center is one of our global delivery and capability hub. We bring together experts in AI, engineering, analysis, quality, and architecture to deliver product & process solutions, application run services, change and transformation initiatives, and centralized platform services across both on prem and Guidewire Cloud environments. Our teams operate from multiple global delivery centers, supporting Zurich’s business units worldwide. Role Purpose:

The Business Analyst (BA) is a core member of the ACE delivery team, supporting the Actuarial Calculation Engine (ACE) by analyzing business requirements, coordinating UAT activities, and supporting controlled delivery of changes across Business Units.

The role focuses on hands on analysis, testing coordination, and stakeholder collaboration, working under the guidance of senior BAs, Product Owner, and IT leads. Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis & Requirements:

Analyze and document business requirements and Change Requests (CRs) for ACE enhancements and defect fixes.

Support clarification of scope, assumptions, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.

Collaborate with senior BAs and Product Owner on requirement refinement and prioritization. Testing & UAT Support:

Support preparation and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Coordinate test case execution with Business Units and IT teams.

Track defects, retesting, and resolution status.





Contribute to UAT documentation and sign off inputs.

Stakeholder

Interaction

Act as a day to day functional contact for assigned Business Units or functional areas.

Support BU queries related to ACE functionality, testing, and usage.

Work closely with IT delivery teams to clarify functional expectations. Documentation & Controls:

Maintain accurate functional documentation, BRDs, and requirement artefacts.

Support preparation of ACE control and governance documentation.

Ensure traceability between requirements, testing, and delivered changes.

Continuous

Improvement & AI Aware Analysis:

Identify opportunities for simplifying processes, improving clarity, and reducing rework.

Use AI enabled tools to support analysis, documentation, and defect triage where appropriate.

Apply critical judgement when using AI outputs.

Skills & Experience:

Core Requirements

Approximately 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in IT, finance, or regulated environments.

Experience with: Business requirements analysis

UAT coordination and defect management

Working with distributed IT delivery teams

Structured, detail oriented, and delivery focused mindset.

Robust written and verbal communication skills. Nice to Have:

Exposure to actuarial, finance, or IFRS 17 related systems.

Experience working in global or multi market applications.

Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery models. Education:

Degree in Business, Finance, IT, Actuarial Science, or equivalent practical experience.
