Position: Senior Infrastructure Engineer Location: Hyderabad/Bangalore Work Type: Hybrid Job Type: Full Time Senior Infrastructure Engineer – IBM MQ Platform (Middleware Engineering)
- This role is focused on designing, engineering, and modernizing the enterprise IBM MQ messaging platform within the CTO Middleware Engineering team.
- The engineer will help build a scalable, secure, resilient, and automated MQ infrastructure, working closely with infrastructure, cloud, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build enterprise-grade IBM MQ infrastructure.
- Develop automation and operational tooling using Python and Ansible.
- Architect highly available, scalable, and resilient messaging solutions.
- Implement monitoring and observability using Grafana and Prometheus.
- Review cloud security controls, secrets management, and key rotation processes.
- Design, test, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure solutions.
- Lead complex infrastructure upgrades and modernization initiatives.
- Identify recurring issues and develop long-term solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve platform reliability and performance.
- Follow Agile development and engineering practices.
- 4+ years in Infrastructure Engineering / Platform Engineering.
- 2+ years of scripting experience.
- 2+ years of IBM MQ experience.
Preferred Experience
- 3+ years with IBM MQ / MQ Appliance.
- 3+ years of Python development.
- 2+ years of Ansible automation.
- 2+ years of Grafana monitoring.
- Experience with Prometheus.
- Strong Linux knowledge.
- Experience managing enterprise-scale infrastructure environments.
