Role Overview The position will oversee all engineering and maintenance activities of an injectable manufacturing facility of our client. This key leadership role reports directly to the Corporate Engineering Head. The role includes ensuring the reliability and efficiency of processes, adherence to safety regulations, and continuous improvement of operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Leadership & Strategy:
- Provide strategic leadership to the engineering team, driving performance improvements and operational excellence across the injectable plant.
- Develop and implement engineering systems and processes that support plant objectives and corporate standards.

- Process Maintenance Management
- Oversee the maintenance and reliability of all equipment and systems in the injectable manufacturing plant.
- Direct the planning and execution of maintenance schedules, ensuring minimal downtime and compliance with regulatory standards.

- Project Management
- Lead capital improvement projects, from concept through execution, to enhance plant capabilities, efficiency, and safety.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure all engineering operations comply with industry regulations and corporate policies, particularly concerning safety and environmental standards.
- Foster a culture of safety and accountability among the engineering staff.





- Performance Monitoring
- Implement performance metrics and KPIs to assess plant operations and engineering effectiveness.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.

- Team Development
- Mentor and develop the engineering team, fostering skills in process engineering, maintenance techniques, and leadership capabilities.
- Promote continuous learning and development opportunities within the engineering department.

Qualifications- Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related field).
- Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.

- Experience
- Minimum 20 years of experience in a pharmaceutical experience in injectable process maintenance.
- Proven track record in a senior management role overseeing engineering functions.

- Skills
- Strong knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements specific to pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Leadership skills to effectively manage and develop a diverse engineering team.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Communication
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
