Experience: 5-6 Years | Location: Gurugram, Haryana | Employment Type: Full-time About The Role We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented finance professional to join our finance team as a Senior Finance Executive. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and supporting strategic initiatives. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams-including business, operations, and leadership to provide data-driven insights and enable sound financial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;) ○ Lead and manage the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, and monthly variance analysis. ○ Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business scenarios and investment decisions. ○ Monitor KPIs and financial metrics, identifying trends and areas of improvement. ○ Own P&L; tracking and performance monitoring across business units.
Management
Reporting ○ Prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements, dashboards, MIS and management reports.
Business
Finance & Decision Support ○ Act as a business partner to departments like sales, operations, and product teams. ○ Evaluate new business opportunities, pricing models, and cost structures. ○ Support strategic initiatives such as new market entry,
product launches, and M&A; due diligence. Governance, Compliance & Internal Controls ○ Ensure adherence to financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies. ○ Work closely with auditors during internal/external audits. ○ Maintain strong documentation and support risk mitigation across finance operations.
Payroll
Management ○ Oversee end-to-end payroll processing with accuracy and compliance. ○ Ensure timely and compliant payroll execution for all employees. ○ Administer payroll operations, ensuring precision and adherence to statutory requirements. ○ Manage payroll cycles, including salary disbursements, tax deductions, and reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
CA, CMA, MBA (Finance), or CFA (Level II/III) is highly desirable.
5–6 years of experience in financial planning, corporate finance, or controllership roles.
Hands-on experience with financial systems and tools (Excel, Google Sheets, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Power BI, etc.). Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and dynamic business environment. Good to Have Experience in high-growth startups, SaaS, fintech, or ecommerce sectors.
