Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Senior Finance Manager to lead the finance and accounting function for our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 10 years of progressive experience in financial management, costing, budgeting, statutory compliance, taxation, and financial reporting within a manufacturing environment. The role requires solid business partnering skills, commercial acumen, and expertise in driving financial controls and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management

- Lead the finance and accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
- Develop and monitor financial policies, internal controls, and SOPs.

Costing & Manufacturing Finance
- Manage product costing, standard costing, and variance analysis.
- Monitor inventory valuation, WIP, BOM costing, and production cost analysis.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives and improve manufacturing profitability.
- Analyze production efficiency and support operational decision-making.

Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
- Perform financial planning, budgeting, and profitability analysis.
- Monitor budget performance and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare MIS reports and dashboards for senior management.

Compliance & Taxation
- Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other statutory regulations.
- Coordinate statutory, tax, internal, and cost audits.
- Liaise with auditors, bankers, consultants, and regulatory authorities.




- Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and regulatory reports.

Treasury & Working Capital
- Manage cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
- Optimize working capital through effective management of receivables, payables, and inventory.
- Coordinate with banks for credit facilities, banking operations, and financial documentation.

Internal Controls & Risk Management
- Strengthen internal financial controls and governance.
- Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with internal audit recommendations.

Business Partnering
- Collaborate with production, procurement, supply chain, sales, and operations teams.
- Support strategic initiatives through financial analysis and business insights.
- Present financial performance and recommendations to senior leadership.

Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
- Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and financial reporting.
- Expertise in manufacturing costing and inventory accounting.
- Thorough understanding of GST, Income Tax, Companies Act, and statutory compliance.
- Advanced financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills.
