: Senior Fabric Technologist

Location: Old Madras Road, Bangalore, Karnataka

Experience: 7 to 10 Years

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Textile Technology, Fashion Technology, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the complete fabric development lifecycle from sourcing and lab dip development to technical approval and bulk production.
- Source fabrics from approved mills and evaluate new suppliers when required.
- Coordinate with buyers, suppliers, processing units, and internal teams to ensure timely fabric development and approvals.
- Prepare and submit development tech packs, lab dips, technical specifications, and test reports as per buyer requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with buyer standards and company SOPs.
- Validate first bulk production and monitor consistency across subsequent bulk lots.
- Coordinate with laboratories and factories to ensure fabric quality,



color accuracy, and testing compliance.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain effective relationships with mills, factories, and buyers.

Key Skills

- Robust knowledge of fabric sourcing, development, dyeing, finishing, and technical assessments.
- Hands-on experience in lab dip approvals, fabric testing, color management, and bulk fabric validation.
- Good understanding of textile quality standards, supply chain, and vendor management.
- Excellent analytical, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and international buyers.
